The first major hit of 2020 finally has a visual. After 7 consecutive weeks of charting on the Billboard Hot 100, Roddy Ricch finally released a visual for his hit single “The Box.” On an interesting note, a couple instagram social media post contained different scenes from the music video. The music video comes two months after the original release of Roddy Ricch’s debut studio album ‘Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial’ which has since found him reaching extraordinary levels of success.

The visual is extremely high budget and it begins with a scene identical to that of 2 Fast 2 Furious that had Brian O’Conner and Roman Pearce racing for pink slips. The next scene transitions into Roddy Ricch doing his best Michael Jordan impression in a Coach Carter inspired theme. We then see Roddy Ricch repelling down the side of a burning building, rapping on a bed with sharks swimming around him, giving a speech at the White House, and finally dancing in a box factory and standing inside a box.

Directed by Roddy Ricch and Christian Breslauer. Watch below!
