Watch Lute's New "GED (Gettin Every Dolla)" Music Video
Dreamville’s Lute released a song + Music Video combo for his new track “GED (Gettin Every Dolla)”. Following up to the release, Dreamvile promoted the single with a series of unique commercials called “Gettin Every Dolla.”
The visual, directed by Neal Farmer, begins with Lute riding a horse, surrounded by elderly people in awe of his raw lyrics, transitioning into a heated chess match with a white suited man holding his tears. The video shifts to a scene of celebration, with Lute and his squad holding stacks of cash and repping graduation gowns —”Turned all my pain into wealth.” Lute celebrates triumph as his flashy alter-ego Gold Mouf, throughout several time periods in American history.
Quotable lyric: “Cause money come and go people come and go, the sooner you know that the more that you see, blood ain’t no thicker than what to me, I count every dollar till my thumbs bleed.”
Now a Grammy-nominated artist, This is Lute’s first solo release since his 2017 album West 1996 Pt. 2.
