Clipse Released ‘Lord Willin’ On This Day in 2002
19 years ago today, Clipse released their debut studio album ‘Lord Willin’ with production handled by The Neptunes.
Lord Willin’ was supported by four singles: “Grindin’”, “When the Last Time”, “Ma, I Don’t Love Her”, and “Cot Damn”.
Lord Willin’ debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, selling 122,000 copies in its first week of release. On October 1, 2002, Lord Willin’ was certified Gold by RIAA for sales of over 500,000 units in the US.
