Drake Released 'Scorpion' On This Day in 2018

3 years ago today, Drake released his fifth studio album ‘Scorpion.’ The album was supported by seven singles: “God’s Plan”, Nice for What”, “I’m Upset”, “Don’t Matter to Me”, “In My Feelings”, “Nonstop”, and “Mob Ties”.

In the first day of release, Scorpion broke Spotify’s one-day global record for album streams with 132.45 million while breaking Apple Music’s single-day record with 170 million streams.

Scorpion debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 732,000 album-equivalent unites in the first week making it the biggest first week of the year at the time.

As of October 31, 2019, scorpion is 5x certified Platinum by RIAA.
