Charlie Stardom - “At Night”
Article By: Lucas Romick
I had the chance to sit down with Indiana’s own, Charlie Stardom and he pressed play on some of his new records for me, including his new single “At Night”.
Similar to the rest of the songs Charlie showed me, they all were laced with stellar production and relatable lyrics. Charlie mentioned his newest single was inspired by something I think we can all relate too... a Marvin’s Room-type night where he was trying to avoid drunkenly reaching out to his Ex at the time. Produced by Byram & 2theHuman, the track starts off super wavey and then we get a peek inside the mind of Charlie, following along with his contemplation on what to do.
Hailing from the Midwest, Charlie has been making music for a while now and his confidence and songwriting abilities have grown with time. In the few short years that I’ve been lucky enough to know Charlie, his versatility and network has set him up for success.
Writing for artists like Eric Bellinger & Ye Ali, Charlie has definitely found his niche in R&B. Charlie believes that consistency and focusing on the artistry is the most important thing in breaking thru the noise of this crowded industry and create something timeless.
We all know that’s easier said than done but Charlie believes that if he can continue to develop ideas that will inspire others through his art, he knows that his time is coming. Be on the lookout for more from Charlie in 2019!
